The list of Dragan Dzajic's football achievements and records is truly imposing. After the first match against Buducnost, he played another 589 matches wearing the Zvezda uniform, thus becoming a club record holder with 287 goals. Dzajic played 32 times in competition for European Cups, including 17 Champions' Cup matches and made nine goals. For the Yugoslav national team he played 85 matches and scored 23 goals. He was even proclaimed the third best player in Europe by the prominent "France Football" in 1968.Dzajic richly demonstrated his masterful style in all four corners of the world and earned a reputation held by not a single one of our footballers before or after him, or even those who played in the most trophy-winning football clubs in the world.Dragan Dzajic was for times the football player of the year in Yugoslavia, and in surveys was pronounced the best left wing of his time in Europe, end the best Yugoslav footballer of all times.
