MILIVOJE ZIVANOVIC, one of the most important theater and film actors from the first postwar generation, was born in Pozarevac on 2.03.1900 and died in Belgrade on 15.11.1976. He was a visiting performer at many theaters both locally and abroad, the most important being in the play "Yegor Bulitchov" in the Moscow Hudeshestveny Theater. He had important motion picture roles in SOFKA, THE MAGIC SWORD, THE RED FLOWER, BLOODY SHIRT, and LELEJSKA GORA. He received the highest social recognition and awards for his creations on the stage and screen.
