MILOSAV MIJA ALEKSIC was born in Gornja Crnusa on 26.09.1923 and died on 12.03.1995 in Belgrade. He was a member of the Yugoslav Drama Theater and the National Theater in Belgrade. He received the STERIJA Theatrical Award for lifetime achievement and many other important tributes. He was acclaimed for his radio programs (Lighthearted Evening) and comedy series on television (Service Station, Mirror of a Dutiful Citizen, and others). He first appeared on film in THE FLY (1950). He enjoyed the reputation of one of the most popular Yugoslav character actors and comics.
