Kalemegdan - the oldest and most famous part of Belgrade... Its stones and ramparts hold our history and that of three empires: the Roman, the Ottoman and the Austro-Hungarian. For each of them Kalemegdan was a crown, a symbol of power. This is the basketball center of Red Star, a club whose young men and women provided Yugoslav basketball with a foundation and powerful drive. The club has produced excellent players and experts and won forty-two championship titles, as well as ten Yugoslav cups - more than any other of our clubs.
